CC Lips is not a standard treatment — it is our signature, created on the basis of years of education, international continuing education and deep professional immersion. What is CC Lips?
CC Lips is an advanced lip technique that Clinic Copenhagen specializes in. It is not a method you learn in a single course — it is our very own signature technique, developed through a combination of foundational training, specialized courses and scientific research. The goal is always a natural, harmonious result that enhances the natural shape of your lips.
The training behind the technique
The CC Lips method is built on a solid professional foundation. The foundational training was taken at Cosmedica, and the technique has been further developed through specialization in the Russian Lips method with Silje from Clinic Iconic via FillerDepot. In addition, advanced lip techniques with Julie Horne and injection methods and tissue understanding with Dr. Tim.
Internationally, we have trained in M-shaped lips at AMS Congress 2024, advanced cannula technique in 2025, as well as Flat Lips, Arabian Lips and Masterclass Russian Lips with Dr. Aisina from Lips for Kiss. All supported by scientific studies from CINAHL and PubMed.
How does CC Lips differ?
Research shows that slow injections and controlled boluses provide better integration of filler into the tissue. Filler must neither be placed too deep beneath the orbicularis oris muscle nor too superficially. CC Lips is placed in the optimal tissue layer, where aesthetics, longevity and safety converge. It is this precision that gives our clients natural, soft results — without the overdone look many fear.
What can you expect?
Before every CC Lips treatment, we start with a thorough consultation where we assess your lip anatomy, your wishes and what will look most natural on you. The treatment itself takes approximately 45 minutes, and the result is visible immediately. You may experience slight swelling for the first 1-3 days, but the final result typically shows after 2 weeks.
Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
We apply numbing cream before the treatment, so most people experience only minimal discomfort. The filler itself also contains local anaesthetic, which takes effect during the procedure. Most clients describe it as a light pressure — not pain.
How long does it last?
CC Lips typically lasts 6–12 months, depending on your metabolism, lifestyle and the amount of filler used. Many of our clients return for a refresh after 8–10 months.
